Personal Experience & Biography:
Dr. John Hitzke, our principal chiropractor, has been passionate about helping people achieve optimal health and well-being for over 50 years. His journey began in 1968 when he first commenced chiropractic, and he’s been serving the Redcliffe Peninsula community at Spectrum Health (formerly Northside Wholistic Health Centre) since 1985.
Dr. John’s path to chiropractic was unique. He initially pursued medicine, even winning a Commonwealth Scholarship to study medicine at the University of Queensland and later at Keio University in Tokyo. However, his experiences in Japan broadened his perspective on conventional medicine, leading him to discover the power of Chiropractic and Naturopathic care.
With a diverse background in chiropractic, naturopathy, and acupuncture, Dr. John provides truly holistic care. He holds a Masters Degree in Chiropractic Science, qualifications in Chiropractic radiography, Naturopathic Medicine, Herbal Medicine, and Acupuncture, and is a member of both the Australian Natural Therapists Association (ANTA) and Chiropractic Australia (CA).
Dr. John is registered with AHPRA and the Chiropractic Board of Australia. He is deeply committed to providing personalised care and exceptional service, helping each patient regain their quality of life and achieve lasting wellness.
